How to be More Private With Your Life
Dear Self,
You've been scrolling through your social media pages. Getting emotional about other people's problems and hitting likes and hearts all over the place. But you don't know how to get to the bottom of it. You've been so obsessed with other people's problems that you've neglected your own. Nothing will solve their problems, but you're wasting your time listening to other people's woes. One of the reasons you're influenced by their lives and stressed out when you shouldn't be is because of this. You'll make remarks disseminate information without confirming its authenticity, and in the end, you'll have destroyed someone's life and reputation.
So let's look at some rules we can follow and try to stick to them. Shall we? And I hope you'll get reminded of this.
Follow your gut instincts and your conscience.
If you're feeling guilty, and you will, you're doing something wrong. Your conscience was there to serve as a constant reminder of your activities. Don't dismiss it.
Listen to the people you can only trust.
Don't follow all other people's opinions. Remember there are different points of view. It might put you in danger by listening to them. Learn how to filter unwanted pieces of advice.
Don't bend your principles and your morality.
Since everything right now is being stereotyped and in the eyes of others, it's okay. Well, it's not okay. Bending your principles is out of the question. Yes being happy is essential but I don't undermine what is moral and what is right from wrong. Don't be deceived just because it is allowed it means it's OK. Because of technology and human perception, we forgot the critical view of morality on what makes us human.
Spirituality helps.
We're all living in a bubble. We are focusing on our physical, emotional, and financial well-being, but we have neglected to consider our spiritual well-being. This is an important component that will keep you on your toes. Not only to become nearer to Him but also to remind us of what matters in life and what will keep us from surviving on this earth. Nothing compares to walking with him.
These are the fundamentals, which I can only reiterate. It's up to you, though, if you choose to become wrapped up in their problems and stories and spoil your day. But, dear self, isn't it better if we pry into our personal lives first, rather than dealing with their problems? I'm hoping that following this discussion, you'll be able to achieve good results. I eagerly forward to your future visit.
Lovingly, Yourself.
